Today’s Tuesday Tips post is dedicated to a very useful issue that many of us take lightly. Many of us are obsessed with tanning and being exposed to the sun, but little do we know the harms of the sun. According to Spa Beauty Schools, SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor and is a measurement of protection against Ultra Violet rays. It measures how much UV rays is needed to cause a sunburn on unprotected skin.
Sun exposure is known as the number 1 cause of many skin damages and wrinkling, but most importantly it might cause skin cancer. That’s why it is very important to apply sunscreen DAILY containing a recommended SPF rating of 15 or above which will play an important role in diminishing the harm of sun rays.
There’s a huge misconception that in winter sunscreen is not recommended since it’s not sunny, that’s definitely false because the UV rays are as harmful as the ones during summer time. Make sure to always apply sunscreen, I personally use SVR daily since it moisturizes my skin and has a tanner too which is amazing!
